How to play Shut Up ?

Each round one player is the Reader and grabs a red Statement card, while the others grab a black Punchline card. Then each turn goes like this:

Read a different statement to each player.

Each player replies with their best available punchline.

Punchline worked? Good. Otherwise, just say Shut Up!

This game is so funny. It's not as raunchy as cards against humanity. It says for 18 years and up and I wouldn't want my younger grandchildren under 18 playing this. Our family likes playing games like this so it was fun. I would recommend it for adults only.

Pretty funny game, you read a line and they respond from their cards.. pretty simple concept and whoever has the best response wins the round. It's not a slow burn, and will for sure make you laugh. Some of the cards are a little spicy so I would be mindful of who you play this with, but it's a good time.

My family likes to have a game night on most weekends. We are all adults and sometimes games are either too childlike, too racy (they're still my kids!) or take way too long to play. This is a fast little game that is for adults, but not too too racy to play with relatives! Lol!

The statement and punchline cards are easy to ready, and appear to have been well edited. The game itself is very fun, similar to CAH, but not anywhere near as crazy. As a result while the game SAYS 18+, many younger teens could play.

This game made for a fun family Christmas this year. We played it and everyone got some good laughs out of it. It's pretty simplistic play, not much for learning the rules, which is always nice. I'd say this was definitely a success!
